University of Pennsylvania

Roy Thomas and Doug Glanville are the two players with the most major league at-bats who came out of the University of Pennsylvania. Thomas was also baseball coach at Penn for over a decade.
Penn provides an excellent resource for researchers. The University Archives have a site that provides biographies for all major league players who attended Penn, and also describes the history of Penn baseball in the 1800's. See History of Penn Baseball and Professional Baseball Players who Attended Penn.
