President of the United States

(Redirected from United States President)
The President of the United States of America is the head of state of the United States. Presidents traditionally throw out the first pitch of the Major League Baseball season.
Throughout the 19th Century it was common in the nation to name male children after former presidents. The most common presidents were the first, George Washington, and the third, Thomas Jefferson. However, this trend has somewhat gone out of style in more recent years. The only Hall of Famer to be named after a president was Grover Cleveland "Pete" Alexander, named for the twenty-second and twenty-fourth president.
