Outfielder Tyrone Horne was named the Texas League MVP in 1998, when he hit .312 with a league-best 37 homers and 139 RBI for the Arkansas Travelers. During a game against the San Antonio Missions on July 27th of that season, he hit 4 home runs: one solo, one two-run, one three-run and one grand slam. He became the first player in professional baseball history to accomplish that feat.
Despite his minor league accomplishments, Horne never reached the majors and only briefly played as high as AAA. He was inducted into the Texas League Hall of Fame in 2007.
