Two-I League

The Two-I League, also known as the Illinois-Indiana League, was a league formed 1892 and lasted part of a season. The league included eight teams from Illinois and Indiana, but not Iowa, and predated the Three-I League. The Peoria Canaries moved to Aurora, IL in May. Four franchises had withdrawn from the league by August 1; the Quincy Ravens (June 24), the Aurora Hoodoos (July 5), Evansville (July 8) and the Terre Haute Hottentots (July 10). After the Joliet Stone Citys withdrew from the league on on August 18, leaving the league with three teams it folded.
