The Tucson Cowboys were the champions of the 1941 Arizona-Texas League, by being the first team in circuit to win both halves of the season. The team's president was Mickey Shader and were managed by Pat Patterson. The team's pitchers included Randolph Aros, George Burpo, Roy Gibbens, Alex Kellner, Lee Porterfield, Billy Sams, and Charlie Shipman. The position players were Don Ramsay at catcher, Bill Benevich at first, Jodie Beeler at second, shortstop George Todhunter, and Harry Clements at third. Joe Bezdek manned left field, with Al Lawrence in right and Doug Smith in center field.
