Tuck Stainback had a long career as a backup outfielder in the 1930s and 1940s. Only as a rookie did he get more than 350 at-bats in a single season.
Although he did not appear in the 1935 World Series, he was one of the players riding the umpire which caused several players to be ejected in Game 3.
