DOOR Neptunus Rotterdam was the Hoofdklasse powerhouse of the early 21st Century. They won a record seven consecutive titles from 1999 through 2005 before several stars departed prior to the 2006 season, including 2005 MVP Dirk van 't Klooster and 2005 Pitcher of the Year Rob Cordemans. Neptunus is sponsored by DOOR Training and located in Rotterdam. They play their home games in DOOR Neptunus Familiestadion.
Previously known as Levi's Neptunus Rotterdam, Kok Juwelier Neptunus Rotterdam, KOK Neptunus Rotterdam, Tropicana Neptunus, Tropicana Neptunus Rotterdam the club also won Hoofdklasse titles in 1981, 1991, 1993 and 1995. They also won the European Cup five consecutive seasons from 2000 through 2004 as well as in 1994 and 1996.
