AAA or Triple-A has been the highest level of the minor leagues since 1946. The leagues at this level have been the following:
- International League (1946-present)
- Pacific Coast League (1946-1951, 1958-present)
- Mexican League (1967-present)
- American Association (1946-1962, 1969-1997)
- Inter-American League (1979)
