Tri-State League (PA-DE-NJ)
From BR Bullpen
Yet another league to use the Tri-State League name, this one was in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. The league existed for three years as an independent (1904-1906), then joined Organized Baseball as a class B league from 1907-1914. Harrisburg, PA was represented for the full run of 1904-1914, while Trenton, NJ was represented for the whole Organized Baseball run (1907-1914). In 1909 and 1910, Wilmington, DE dropped out of the league, leaving this Tri-State League with only two states.
