Trent Durrington played five seasons in the majors.
Durrington was signed as a free agent by the California Angels in 1994 at age 18, and was in the Angels organization from 1994-2000. He came up to the big-league team for 122 at-bats (43 games) in 1999 and was up for 3 more at-bats (4 games) in 2000.
After the 2000 season he was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and spent a month or so at their minor league club in Las Vegas, but was released by the Dodgers and spent the rest of 2001-2003 back with the Angels, mostly in the minors with Arkansas and Salt Lake. He came up to the majors for 14 at-bats (12 games) with the Angels in 2003.
Trent was just 3 for 20 with no extra-base hits in the 2001 Baseball World Cup but drew six walks and was hit by four pitches for a .433 OBP. He also stole five bases in six tries and was fifth in the Cup in steals as the regular Aussie SS.
After the 2003 season the Milwaukee Brewers signed him, and he played for Indianapolis and Nashville in the minors. He came up to the Brewers for 82 at-bats (53 games) in 2004 and 14 at-bats (28 games) in 2005.
