[edit] Biographical Information
Trader Horne was with the 1929 Cubs, a pennant-winning team, for the first part of the 1929 season. As a pitcher he went 1-1 and as a hitter he hit .400 (2-for-5).
In the mid-1930's he was with San Diego, and formed part of a singing quartet with Vince DiMaggio, among others. They sang "Those Wedding Bells are Breaking Up that Old Gang of Mine", according to a reminiscence by George Myatt.
