Due to a scheduling mistake, the Toronto Maple Leafs played a double-header on August 27, 1920 against two different clubs. Toronto beat the Jersey City Skeeters 9-4, but lost to the Syracuse Stars 6-4.


Several Maple Leafs clubs are considered among the greatest minor league teams of all time:

The name Toronto Maple Leafs is now used by a team in the amateur Intercounty Baseball League.
