 Biographical Information
Taylor was hitting .339 with Memphis when the Senators picked him up. The Memphis manager was Johnny Dobbs, who went on to become the president of the Charlotte club and hired Taylor to manage Charlotte in 1934. Taylor went back to Memphis after his time with the Senators, leading the Southern Association in batting average, doubles and RBI in 1926.
