Tommy Murphy was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 3rd round of the 2000 amateur draft. He was signed for $440,000 and made his pro debut with the Boise Hawks that summer.
Murphy was an assistant coach at Jacksonville University in 2010-2011. He was then a coach at the Bucky Dent Baseball School.
