Tom Werner

An owner of the San Diego Padres from 1990 to 1994, Tom Werner was part of the group, along with John Henry that purchased the Boston Red Sox for $700 million in 2002. Werner made his fortune as a television producer most famously of "The Cosby Show" and "Roseanne". He is currently dating Katie Couric of NBC's Today Show.
