Tom Brown came out of the University of Maryland in 1962 and was in the majors in 1963. From 1964-69 he was in the NFL. He played in the first two Super Bowls for the Green Bay Packers.
Brown was signed by the Senators before the 1963 season and made his debut on April 8, 1963. He played outfield and first base on a team that lost 106 games. His teammates included the 37-year-old Minnie Minoso.
He is one of several major leaguers by the name "Tom Brown".
