Tom Lundstedt had his one career RBI on July 12, 1975 as a pinch hitter in the top of the 16th off of Pat Dobson, scoring Rod Carew, against the New York Yankees. His hit gave the Twins the lead, but Twins pitcher Tom Burgmeier was not able to hold the lead. Graig Nettles and Lou Piniella came up with RBI singles to give the Yankees the 8-7 win in the 16-inning contest at Shea Stadium.
