Tom Daly played four seasons in the majors. His best year was 1914, when he posted an on-base percentage of .369.

There are two players named "Tom Daly" but he is the only one named Tom Daley.

His nickname was "Pete" although there is a later ballplayer by the name Pete Daley, who was a catcher. Tom was known as "Pete Daley" when he played for the minor league Los Angeles team in 1909-12, although The Pacific Coast League: A Statistical History lists him as "T. Daley".
