Tinker Field was built in 1914. The park is named for Hall of Fame shortstop Joe Tinker. The stadium has been home to many of the teams that called Orlando home. It was added to the national registry of historic places in 2004. The stadium has been left without a team since 2004 when the Orlando Rays moved to Montgomery, AL.
