Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tim Pugh was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 6th Round of the 1989 amateur draft. In 1990, while pitching for the Charleston Wheelers, he led the Carolina League with 15 wins, 8 complete games, and his 1.88 ERA was second best in the league. During the league championship, Pugh posted two shutouts, earning team MVP honors.
