[edit] Biographical Information
Tim Murchison gave up no earned or unearned runs in the three major league games he pitched. He was on the World Series champion 1920 Cleveland Indians and also the 1917 Cardinals who were over .500.
Murchison pitched for the Lowell Merchants and the Lowell Stars in the early 1920's, and later became a scout in the Carolinas for the Cubs (1945-1954) and the Giants (1954-1962) for many years. In that capacity he signed Gaylord Perry and Randy Hundley.
He was at Guilford College at the same time as Tom Zachary.
