Tim Flattery played one season as a pro.
He was 12-2 with a 0.71 ERA as a high school senior, making All-State. He spent his junior college time at Iowa Central Community College, going 12-7. He participated in the JUCO World Series in 2006. [1] In 2007, he had a 1-1 record with two saves and a 5.29 ERA for the University of Northern Iowa. He was 4-0 with a save and a team-best 3.00 ERA as a senior. [2] He played one season of independent baseball with the Rockford RiverHawks in 2008 and went 2-5 with a 5.84 ERA. He also earned 2 saves in 18 appearances. Flattery announced his retirement in 2009. [3]
