[edit] Biographical Information

Tim Crabtree had retired after the 2003 season and became a police officer at the Dallas/Ft Worth Airport. However, he re-signed with the Texas Rangers in June 2005 and to attempt a comeback. He pitched in the Rangers' minor league system the rest of the season. After the season, he signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers. The deal includes an invitation to Major League spring training. He can also opt of the deal in the late March if he isn't added to the 25-man roster by then.
