Tim Crabbe has been a minor league pitcher.

Crabbe was picked by the Cincinnati Reds in the 14th round of the 2009 amateur draft; the scout was Rex de la Nuez. He made his pro debut that summer with the Billings Mustangs and struck out 53 in 50 innings, but his record was only 1-7, 4.86. He tied Luca Panerati and Adrian Rosario for third in the Pioneer League in losses. In 2010, he was 3-7 with a 4.26 ERA for the Dayton Dragons. Crabbe picked it up a notch in 2011, pitching for Dayton (2-2, 3.65 in 8 G) and the Bakersfield Blaze (5-5, 3.41 in 21 G). Overall, he struck out 148 in 135 2/3 IP. He was fourth in the Reds chain in ERA (3.45, trailing Josh Smith, Joel Bender and Daniel Corcino) and was 5th in strikeouts.

Tim pitched in 2012 for the Blaze (5-2, 3.28) and Pensacola Blue Wahoos (3-6, 4.90), with 153 strikeouts and 81 walks in 144 innings. He led Reds farmhand in walks but was second in whiffs (behind Tony Cingrani). His 66 walks for Pensacola were 5th-most in the Southern League. He then joined the Italian national team for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
