Thailand is a nation in southeastern Asia. The country hosted the 1998 Asian Games and 2003 Asian Championship. The Thai national team played in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, the first international competition involving non-Asian teams that the country had ever participated in. Krissada Heebthong was born here.
