Outfielder Terry Pollreisz was drafted in the sixth round of the 1969 amateur draft by the Baltimore Orioles after playing both basketball and baseball at the University of Portland. He hit .196/~.366/.304 in 19 games for the Aberdeen Pheasants that year.
Pollreisz was the head coach at West Linn High School in Oregon for twelve years, and was head coach at the University of Portland from 1987 to 1997, winning Pac-10 Conference north titles in 1989 and 1991.
Pollreisz managed the Everett Aqua Sox from 1998 to 2001. In 2002 and 2003, he was a coach for the San Antonio Missions, and he was a member of the Tacoma Rainiers staff from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, Pollreisz became manager of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
