[edit] Biographical Information

Although Terry Leach was mostly a reliever in his career, he did have a one-hitter and two-hitter in his career as a starter. The one-hitter was on October 1, 1982 as a member of the New York Mets against the Philadelphia Phillies. Leach pitched 10 innings, walking 6 and striking out 7. The lone hit was a triple by Luis Aguayo. On July 2, 1987, Leach pitched a two-hitter for the Mets against the Cincinnati Reds. The only two hits in that game were singles by Bo Diaz and Ron Oester.
