Terry Hughes was the second man drafted in 1967, and came to the majors in 1970. Primarily a third baseman, he played for three different teams in three years in the majors. In 1972 he hit .302 for Wichita.
Hit his only home run on June 29, 1974 against the Cleveland Indians. Milt Wilcox was the pitcher.
In the minors he played for Caldwell, Greenville, Quincy, San Antonio, Tacoma, and Wichita.
