Outfielder Terry Evans was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 47th round (No. 1,409 overall) of the 2001 amateur draft and signed by scout Roger Smith on May 29, 2002. He was traded to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for Jeff Weaver on July 5, 2006.
