Temple Tigers

The Temple Tigers played in the 1914 Middle Texas League. Based in Temple, TX, the team went 37-14 to take the first-half title by half a game over the Georgetown Collegians. They slipped in the second half to 17-13, half a game behind the first-place Bolten Braves. Bolten then beat Temple 5 games to 1 in the post-season for the title. In 1915, they became the Temple Governors.
