Template talk:AL season

Could the BR page link be added to the template, with the year, league and BR link removed from above the standings table? I think that this link would work [http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/AL_{{Current}}.shtml BR {{Current}} AL Page]. Also could the border color be darkened to #AB1E48? --MichaelEng 22:11, 4 May 2006 (EDT)

I've done the color change, and I really like the idea of adding the BR page to the template. I'll see if I can also add the [[Category:{{Current}}]] into the template and change the {{{Current}}} to [[{{{Current}}}]]]. That would eliminate the need to have the current header line. --Roger 22:20, 4 May 2006 (EDT)

Great suggestion Michael. The only problem is that now I have to do the same thing for the NL season template and then edit all 130 NL seasons to take advantage of the changes. ;-) --Roger 22:28, 4 May 2006 (EDT)

I've added a link to the other Major League (i.e. [[{{{Current}}} NL]]) to the template and a division line. I hope you don't mind. --MichaelEng 20:52, 15 May 2006 (EDT)

That looks fine. It looks as though you made similar changes to the NL template, which means going back to edit all of the template entries. I wish I had a good way of autmating the process :-( --Roger 11:17, 17 May 2006 (EDT)
