What the hell happened to this guy? Did he just price himself out of the market, or what?

He hurt himself...and quit before he did too much damage -

Price himself out? With a year like he had in 2000 (his final year - most guys would be lucky to have one year with rate stats like that) he could've signed in '01 for even more. No. The Thrill just hung it up while he was still at the top of his game, before that beautiful swing of his slowed down.

I can't believe he didn't get the votes to stay on the list??????
