The Minor League Register lists him as a manager through 1940. The Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball list as manager:

  • 1941 Florida State (Leesburg) - Wilbur Good Jr.
  • 1942 Georgia-Florida (Tallahassee) - Will Good
  • 1946-47 Florida State (Leesburg); 1948-49 Georgia State (Fitzgerald) - Bill Good

TSN reported the 1941 Leesburg shortstop as Bill Goode. Don't know if that's the manager or another guy. --Jeff 22:23, 20 March 2008 (EDT)

Wilbur Good was the manager. Jr. or not??

Here is what Doyle has for Wilbur Good Jr.'s career during that period - 1941 Leesburg, 1942 did not play, 1946-1947 Leesburg, 1948-1949 Fitzgerald. He has no Bill Goode listed so that might be a typo. Good could have been a non-playing manager in 1942 or it might be an error in Doyle that left him out. - --Mischa 20:55, 22 March 2008 (EDT)
