Robert,
Please place it into the talk section of the page. That would be the best record for it in case someone else comes upon the page.

Sean,
you probably will want to file this or keep a record of
Bruce Esser's permission to use his material, verbatim. All of our correspondence concerning
everything is in this e-mail. As I use it, I will duly note it. Bob

Feel free to use whatever you want. If the baseball-reference wiki stuff had been available when I started this site i would have probably just used their format/update style instead of inventing another wheel. Sometimes I think of just moving all my stuff to some wikipedia site but the amount of work involved deters me.
Good luck

Dugout, I fixed links to most of the players but I'm guessing William O'Brien might be either Billy O'Brien or Darby O'Brien and am not sure. Hopefully someone can fix that link too. - --Mischa 17:41, 17 October 2006 (EDT)
I fixed 1886 links. Could Charles Hall be Charlie Hall? - --Mischa 17:59, 18 October 2006 (EDT)
[edit] 1933
Denver, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa all left the league after the 1932 season. Its amazing that the league survived even until 1937.
Was all the info removed from this page (-12,509) put somewhere else? --Jeff 16:44, 16 November 2007 (EST)
Not that I can see. It should be restored. - --Mischa 20:29, 17 November 2007 (EST)
Is someone going to restore the missing info? - --Mischa 20:33, 18 November 2007 (EST)
Wrong John O'Donnell in 1956. - --Mischa 13:48, 15 July 2011 (EDT)
A thought occurred to me, based partly off of the book Western League (1885-1999); Wikipedia lists the Western League as being from 1885 to 1899. I believe that the author used the Western League book. Yet under the American League page, the history starts with 1894. Personally I go with 1888 as this was when the Western Association began. Does the American League pre-date the 1893/94 year or not. And yes I realize the American League came into existence in 1900/01. Just thinking in terms of minor league status only.- Yuriy 43.
