A black manager in 1886? Is this correct? If not, it should be removed. - --Mischa 13:50, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
Johnson & Wolff list a W.W. Wallace as the Denver manager in 1886. --Jeff 14:02, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
There seems to be some question about where Welday played after 1884. Here's a reference that differs from the text here: "Walker would eventually play for Akron of the Ohio State League and Cleveland of the Western League before finishing his career in 1887 with the Pittsburgh Keystones" - http://theserioustip.blogspot.com/2007/04/walker-brothers-forgotten-pioneers-of.html Does anyone know of a full biography of Welday? - Randy 14:09, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
Looking further, it may have been his brother that played at Waterbury. The question is whether both of them did. - Randy 14:13, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
