Nordhagen was traded from the Blue Jays to the Phillies for Dick Davis. 10 days later, he was the player to be named later in a trade for Davis, going to the Blue Jays from the Pirates. --Jeff 22:16, 8 October 2010 (EDT)

I remember, at the time, being surprised by the claim of a pre-existing injury. However, if you look at the OPS+, Wayne was over 100 five years in a row until he came to the Jays in 1982, and played well below that, showing little power. And the next year, 1983, was his last. - Randy 23:07, 8 October 2010 (EDT)

I'm just struck by how he can be traded for the same guy by different teams in a 10 day span. The net effect was that Dick Davis was traded for Bill Robinson, and Nordhagen ended up right where he started. --Jeff 23:17, 8 October 2010 (EDT)
