Talk:Wayne Ambler
From BR Bullpen
I changed the article to be consistent with Ambler's own statements in the SABR biography. In particular, I deleted this paragraph (talking about Ambler in 1941), in spite of its specificities: "After that, Ambler retired from baseball and was working in a paper stock company in Philadelphia, playing semi-pro baseball, and was chairman of the paper committee of the Philadelphia Council of Defense until he accepted a commission in the Navy at Ft. Schyler, NY." The paragraph conflicts with what Ambler said in the biography. The biography has been revised, so possibly the paragraph came from an earlier version. - Randy 19:42, 31 July 2010 (EDT)
