The baseball history of Northern Colorado is quite confusing. They were affiliated with the RMAC for 40 or more years, but they seemed to play baseball as an independent through the late 70's. The school website claims they won the GPAC title in 1974, but they may have had some sort of independent status that year. I think they were keeping the baseball team at D-I while the other sports were D-II. --Jeff 15:04, 10 January 2009 (EST)

On top o fthat, the North Central Conference lists them from 1991 to 1997 as an "At-Large" (instead of in the North or South divisions) in their standings. Their conference record doesn't add up with the rest of the conference. From 1998 to 2003, their listed in the standings with all the other schools. --Jeff 00:57, 19 January 2009 (EST)
