Yes, it was an entirely different ballpark; Tiger Stadium's beginning is rooted in the construction of Navin Field. The upper and lower-deck stands from first to third (well, roughly - the original stands slightly surpass the first and third bases, respectively) and the right-field stands were from Navin Field. Another article on Bennett Park will be appropriate in the future.

The Tiger Stadium picture at the top is fair use; I took it myself. The source of some of the other pictures on this website have not yet been verified; I am in the process of totally renovating the page. More information to follow.
