He may have attended Niagara from 1947 to 1953 (as the BR school page says), but he certainly didn't play there that long. BR says he was signed as an amateur free agent in 1949, and he was drafted from Minneapolis in the 1952 Rule V draft (he played for Jacksonville in 1952). --Jeff 16:11, 6 March 2008 (EST)
