Should we move this back to Vanden Hurk? van den Hurk is the proper Dutch spelling but Vanden Hurk is his "nom de MLB" which is what we use usually. - --Mischa 17:17, 3 July 2007 (EDT)

Seems to me you have to list him the way he's known here. That's how people would search for him. I imagine that maybe the MLB computers insist on a last name that is capitalized . . . - Randy 17:40, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

The "Van den Hurk" only seems to show up on Dutch sites, some of which also use the Americanized spelling. - --Mischa 17:41, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
