Talk:Ramon Pena
From BR Bullpen
There's a Ramon Pena that's listed as the Indians' Director, Latin American Operations. Seems like it would be this one, but there's two minor leaguers with the same name.
And, Tony's first name is Ramon. They named both kids Ramon? --Jeff 00:20, 28 August 2011 (EDT)
Heck, Luis DeLeon's father named five kids Luis. And George Foreman had how many Georges? On the topic of family with the same name, one of the kids in my son's class is named after the same relative as one of her cousins. So, it doesn't surprise me if two brothers gave their kids the same name. - --Mischa 14:01, 28 August 2011 (EDT)
This article seems to say that the Mets and Tigers scout is this same Ramon Pena. --Jeff 10:25, 10 February 2012 (EST)
This article however says he was with Detroit From 1985 to 2006 and KC from 1981-1984 and played for the Pirates before that. --Jeff 10:29, 10 February 2012 (EST)
The 2011 Indians Media Guide has a bio. It's a different guy. - --Mischa 12:06, 10 February 2012 (EST)
