The manager for the 1903 Los Angeles (Pacific National) franchise was Charles Reilly. (per "SN" from April through October). The manager for the 1905 Los Angeles (Pacific Coast) franchise was James Morley according to weekly notes of "SN" (April 22-Sept 16). According to weekly "SN" data, Dillon did not take over the Los Angeles franchise until 1909 and then managed them through 1915. Henry Berry was manager in 1907-08 and part of 1909 as noted in "SN".

The Minor League Register credits Dillon as manager of LA from 1905 to 1915. The Pacific Coast League: A Statistical History, 1903-1957 by Dennis Snelling has the same years, with James Morley managing in 1903 and Tim Flood in 1904. The Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball lists him in 1903 and 1905-1915 with Morely managing in 1904. --Jeff 01:22, 9 September 2007 (EDT)
