Has anyone read Koszarek's PL book? It sounds somewhat interesting, but I can't find any reviews. - --Mischa 08:11, 6 Jun 2006 (EDT)

In the Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball: Second Edition, In the 1890 listing of the Players League, page 115, Ben Hilt is shown as the first manager of the Philadelphia Quakers Team. Is the info in the Encyclopedia not true, if so they should be notified. What is the reference that this can be substantiated? --Dugout 13:20, 10 January 2007 (EST)

David Nemec's Encyclopedia of 19th century baseball lists Jim Fogarty (7-9) and Charlie Buffington (61-54) as the managers of the Philadelphia Quakers. --Just me 22:31, 10 January 2007 (EST)
