[edit] Personal anecdote

I knew Paul in 1964-66 while he was stationed at Marine Corp Auxiliary Air Station in Yuma, AZ. Paul was a quiet man. Paul was also the only person I personally knew who did the New York Times Crossword puzzle in BALL POINT PEN. Paul was a Sergeant (E-5) and worked at the Visiting Aircraft Line as Asst. NCOIC, subordinate to GySgt. Williams.

George Guss Retired Chief Petty Officer USN

I am Paul Lehner's great niece and now I know where I get my habit of doing crosswords in pen. Anna E. Baldwin

[edit] Paul Lehner

In cleaning out my grandmohers belongings this week my father came across what appears to be a photo/postcard of Paul Lehner and it is addressed to my aunt. He is in a philadelphia athletics uniform and his signature is on the front on his picture and it is in blue ballpoint ink. We are trying to figure out the connection and how he would have been met or known my aunt as she does not recall even meeting him. She is 78 years old so a lot of time has passed since she received this photo/postcard. Roxanne
