The 1992 Olympic report lists his name as being Osvaldo Fernandez Rodriguez, which is correct? --MichaelEng 11:28, 13 Apr 2006 (EDT)

Osvaldo Fernandez Rodriguez is the correct name

Osvaldo Fernandez Guerra was a lefty pitcher (screwball specialist) for Metropolitanos in Havana City is not the same person as Osvaldo Fernandez Rodriguez the former Holguin, Cuba National Team, and MLB San Francisco Giants pitcher.

In Cuba it is a custom to use two last names hence the confusion

Osvaldo Fernandez Guerra throws a no-hit-no-run game in stadium "Estadio Latinoamericano" pitching for Metropolitanos against Citricultors on 12-10-98

Osvaldo Fernandez Rodriguez the MLB player throws a no-hit-no-run game in stadium "Estadio Latinoamericano" pitching for Holguin against Metropolitanos on 11-29-92
