Oscar Acosta was a great man. He was a very loving and devoted father and husband. His life ended far to quickly and in a very tragic way. There was no other man like him. He gave his all to his teams and his players. His players were like his family. Even though he was hard on them, he loved them very much, he wanted the best for them. He made a connection with the Dominican team because he found a love for those kids down there and he wanted to do anything and everything possible to get them what they wanted, what they deserved. Thank you for everything you did Oscar, you are very much so missed. A number 1 fan!!!  :)

He was the father of 3 children Melissa, Amanda, and Ryan. His wife was Kathy Self-Acosta. He was the son of Connie Acosta and the late Juan Acosta. He graduated High School from Elida New Mexico. He will be greatly missed.
