The 1943 Register says he went to Alabama Poly for a year, and Nebraska State Teachers College for two and a half. Alabama Poly is Auburn, but Nebraska State Teachers College could refer to any of four schools: Peru State, Wayne State, Chadron State, or Nebraska Kearney. --Jeff 00:56, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
