Mule entered UNC in 1919, and finished up in 1923, so the "1920-23" dates are more accurate than 1921-23. He played freshman basketball in the 1919-20 season, but only baseball in his three varsity seasons. This information is from UNC's 1922 and 1923 yearbooks.
