Was the John Kane who won the batting title John Kane (kanejo02), or was he a career minor leaguer? --Roger 09:55, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

I would think it's the same guy. The batting champ was a 2B and Kane (02) was a 2B-SS. It's not that common a name that given the era and position we can't make the assumption. - --Mischa 11:01, 23 August 2006 (EDT)
